Christchurch Police appealing for information after robbery
Police are appealing for help to find two balaclava-clad robbers who threatened a liquor store manager with a metal baseball bat before stealing thousands of dollars of goods.
The pair, believed to be in their 20s, attacked the man as they raided Thirsty Liquor on Parnwell St, Burwood at 8.35pm on Tuesday.
CCTV footage from the shop released by police shows the men – wearing baseball caps, dark hoodies and gloves – bursting into the shop and running to the till to steal cigarettes and cash. Read more here.
