Health and Wellbeing Group
Attention aspiring health advocates! 😇
A Manawatū Health and Wellbeing Group is being developed as a result of the Manawatū Health and Wellbeing Plan 2018 - 2023. The purpose of the group will be to work together on a common agenda to improve the health and wellbeing of Manawatū District residents.
Applications are being sought for up to four voluntary positions on the group. These members will be appointed to represent the community.
Applications are open now and will run until Friday 17 May 2019. If you are interested in becoming involved please collect a form from our front office or email Planning4Health@midcentraldhb.govt.nz to be sent an application form.

Poll: Should the government levy industries that contribute to financial hardship?
As reported in the Post, there’s a $30 million funding gap in financial mentoring. This has led to services closing and mentors stepping in unpaid just to keep helping people in need 🪙💰🪙
One proposed solution? Small levies on industries that profit from financial hardship — like banks, casinos, and similar companies.
