The Social Studio - a NEW meet-up in Island Bay for creative folk
Got a creative project that you've been putting off? Or are you self-employed and would appreciate some extra social contact?
The Social Studio starts this Tuesday morning (9.30 - 12noon), 88 The Parade (Presbyterian Centre). For creators, upcyclers, restorers, designers, composers - anyone with a project to bring along and work on, alongside others. Koha per session. Weekly and casual, in a warm, sunny space.

Poll: Do you think NZ should ban social media for youth?
The Australian Prime Minister has expressed plans to ban social media use for children.
This would make it illegal for under 16-year-olds to have accounts on platforms including TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and X.
Social media platforms would be tasked with ensuring children have no access (under-age children and their parents wouldn’t be penalised for breaching the age limit)
