English tutoring

Paul from Devonport

Apologies. This was supposed to go on the Noticeboard yesterday (not in 'Help and Advice'. Whoops...)

Hi. Last year I was very fortunate to teach ESOL English to some really lovely local families.
Please let me know if anyone out there would like some English lessons. I am exceptionally patient and there is no need to worry about making mistakes, ever!
Am happy to offer a free 40 min.trial lesson at my home. I am fully-qualified and have four very good recommendations/reviews via my page 'paul43' at 'findatutor.co.nz'. Send a personal message on Neighbourly, or email me: talltree@xtra.co.nz. (Paul)

Poll: Should the government levy industries that contribute to financial hardship?

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

As reported in the Post, there’s a $30 million funding gap in financial mentoring. This has led to services closing and mentors stepping in unpaid just to keep helping people in need 🪙💰🪙

One proposed solution? Small levies on industries that profit from financial hardship — like banks, casinos, and similar companies.

So we want to hear what you think:
Should the government ask these industries to contribute?
