Good morning needing help with an electrical fault
I am having trouble convincing anyone that there is an electrical problem in our home. Some extra lighting was installed a few weeks ago and ever since then every night at bedtime I get a feeling like a strong electrical current is going through me. In the morning my hands at the centre where I believe is the electrical entry point ache. My legs up to my knees are sore and stiff. Last night I happened to hold a metal object and the pain in the upper body went away. How can I convince any family member there is a problem. The electrician who inserted the lights is convinced it is static electricity and was not prepared to even consider what I tried to explain.
At another property in Taranaki I had to put in a new ground strap because the old one had broken. I have told the family this but they are not convinced. If there is someone there with electrical knowledge please help.
