Warehouse Money Card

Rudy from Levin

Just wondering how many of you have been sucked in by this outfit. I got mine a few years ago as they were pushing it in regards to no annual fees and interest at 19.95 and 22.95. Just got a note from them saying that as from 1st April they will charge an annual fee of $55.00 and increase other charges to 22.9 and 25.9. I have rung them and been told that legally they can do this, so I have paid up my balance and told them where to put their cards, I suggested where the sun don't shine.

Legally they probably are able to do this, but morally it stinks that they get you to sign up with the promise of no fees, and than decide to just bump up the fees.

Poll: Should the government levy industries that contribute to financial hardship?

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

As reported in the Post, there’s a $30 million funding gap in financial mentoring. This has led to services closing and mentors stepping in unpaid just to keep helping people in need 🪙💰🪙

One proposed solution? Small levies on industries that profit from financial hardship — like banks, casinos, and similar companies.

So we want to hear what you think:
Should the government ask these industries to contribute?
