Manawatu District Bylaw review

The Team from Manawatu District Council

What will our revised bylaws look like? Will we change where dogs🐩 can go, or where street vendors 🌭 can operate, will scooters 🛴🛴 and skate devices be allowed, what about freedom camping 🚙 or car parking…
We are revising our 14 bylaws and what you tell (or don’t’ tell) us will make a difference, and you need to do this before 20 March ⏰. You can see and comment on our bylaws here using the link.

Poll: Should the government levy industries that contribute to financial hardship?

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

As reported in the Post, there’s a $30 million funding gap in financial mentoring. This has led to services closing and mentors stepping in unpaid just to keep helping people in need 🪙💰🪙

One proposed solution? Small levies on industries that profit from financial hardship — like banks, casinos, and similar companies.

So we want to hear what you think:
Should the government ask these industries to contribute?
