Appleby 6s Tournament on this Sunday!

Appleby Cricket Club

Following the previous 30-odd years, 2019’s event will be taking place this Sunday 10th March at the Ythan and Dalrymple Street grounds, kicking off at 9.30am.

SIT & Club Development
For the past few years Appleby Cricket has developed a solid relationship with SIT to help strengthen playing numbers with many players from outside the region. We are hoping this relationship can continue…. #STANDUPFORSIT. SIT’s support has been invaluable for the Club to field three competitive senior level teams. We are always on the lookout for new players and fresh talent, with any enquiries most welcome. Find out more

The Australian Prime Minister has expressed plans to ban social media use for children.

This would make it illegal for under 16-year-olds to have accounts on platforms including TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and X.
Social media platforms would be tasked with ensuring children have no access (under-age children and their parents wouldn’t be penalised for breaching the age limit)
