Would you dump a dead animal in public to get the council's attention?

Kendall Hutt Reporter from North Shore Times

Hi neighbours. After rescuing sick ducks for three weeks and growing tired of waiting for Auckland Council to pick the carcasses up, one local has dumped a dead duck on a playground in protest. Would you dump a dead animal in a public place to get the council's attention about an issue? Do you feel her actions are justified? Please put NFP in your post if it is not for publication.

Poll: Should the government levy industries that contribute to financial hardship?

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

As reported in the Post, there’s a $30 million funding gap in financial mentoring. This has led to services closing and mentors stepping in unpaid just to keep helping people in need 🪙💰🪙

One proposed solution? Small levies on industries that profit from financial hardship — like banks, casinos, and similar companies.

So we want to hear what you think:
Should the government ask these industries to contribute?
