Manwatu District Bylaws Review

The Team from Manawatu District Council

At what age does a kitten become a cat? Should we allow bees to be kept in urban area with or without a permit? Should a person who feeds or cares for a feral or stray animal be responsible for any nuisance it causes?

These are some things we are considering in our Animal Control Bylaw go to our HaveYourSay site and let us know your views on this, or any of the other Bylaws we are reviewing.

Some Choice News!

Kia pai from Sharing the Good Stuff

Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.

Thinking about planting something to invite more butterflies, bees, and birds into your garden?

Thanks for your mahi, Alan! We hope this brings a smile!
