You are your greatest asset!

Steve from True North Investments

It has been my observation that everyone seems to know instinctively to insure things that they own, whether it be a car, a house or the contents inside their house. They may even go to the trouble of spending money to get jewelry valued so that it can be properly insured.
But often people forget that they are the reason that they can own all their stuff.
So if something happens to them and they can no longer work, then they could possibly lose all the things that they have insured!
You are your greatest asset. You provide your income to live and purchase things that you will need to use and enjoy.
If you get really sick and can't work, what will you do and where will you go?
Wouldn't it be better to have that question answered while you are still well and working?
I encourage you to contact me and have a chat as to what kinds of insurance you need.

Poll: Should the government levy industries that contribute to financial hardship?

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

As reported in the Post, there’s a $30 million funding gap in financial mentoring. This has led to services closing and mentors stepping in unpaid just to keep helping people in need 🪙💰🪙

One proposed solution? Small levies on industries that profit from financial hardship — like banks, casinos, and similar companies.

So we want to hear what you think:
Should the government ask these industries to contribute?
