Hataitai Changes
Residents in Hataitai told us they wanted a closer look at the number 14 bus route. We listened.
We extended the route back to Kilbirnie and promised that we’d look at the layout of the route too.
We asked the community what changes they'd like to the Hataitai area, feedback closed on 27 January and 610 responses were received online and by post.
The significant majority stated a preference for routing all services, to and from the city, via Waipapa Road.
The survey also asked what other things we should consider in relation to route 14 with some people asking us to extend the route to Rongotai. We’ll take this and all the information we collected into consideration as part of future reviews and thank everyone for taking part. The Metlink team is now working towards returning stops to Waipapa Road, where they were before 15 July 2018, so bear with us while we make these changes.
