Hereford-dairy cross heifers

Ashley from Rural West Whangarei

I have 5 Hereford-dairy cross heifers that are about 8-9 months old for sale. A farmer friend estimated them around 200kg, but I would not know. They have been raised on a lifestyle block so are friendly, but not tame. They will follow me when I call them to change paddocks. They are Polled Hereford, so no horns.

I would like to sell 2 before the winter, but would consider selling 3. My farmer friend said they should be worth around $700.

I do not have a loading ramp, but can put them in the calf shed and we can load up a ramp on a trailer from there.

Location is near Maungatapere.

Text me on O2O 4I32 4276.

Some Choice News!

Kia pai from Sharing the Good Stuff

Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.

Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.

Thinking about planting something to invite more butterflies, bees, and birds into your garden?

Thanks for your mahi, Alan! We hope this brings a smile!
