Grand re-opening of Christchurch Town Hall organ with 2 FREE concerts!
Wonderful chance to hear the mighty Rieger organ roar for the first time in 8 years! TWO free concerts on Wednesday, March 6th. 1.10pm and repeated at 6pm. No booking is necessary, but there are plenty of seats for everyone. Come and enjoy an hour of magnificent music on this fine instrument played by concert organist Martin Setchell.

Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.
Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
