Kindness

Carole Neighbourly Lead from Tawa

This afternoon at Countdown Tawa, I witnessed a lady with a crutch struggling to put her groceries in her car.

A young man came running over (through the carpark) and asked her if she needed help, which she generously accepted.

I was touched by this simple act of kindness and wanted to share it. Perhaps more people could mention other acts of kindness, as I am sure our community is filled with it.

The young man was wearing a Goldsmith Roofers top, of course I don't know if he works for them, but if he does, what a lucky employer. So to the young man, thank you.
