Well done ILT
Not often I am generous with praise for the ILT but on this occasion I congratulate them for the vision for allowing this mural on the Kelvin Hotel . Obviously the artist Danny Owen has done a magnificent job showcasing ethnic diversity that has grown over the last decade or so here in the Deep South . Rightfully made us proud on the National news last night and a thank you too all involved.
ps . I stole the image off The Southland times so please don't tell them. If you are a member of stuff staff , go and have a coffee break.

Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.
Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
