A Mangaore Village Garden - self-sufficiency on a shoestring budget

Colleen from Shannon

Check out my garden blog - where I share tips and tricks as I try to be as self-sufficient as possible in a sustainable and natural way with little or no financial outlay - on an average-sized section in Mangaore Village, Shannon.
amangaorevillagegarden.blogspot.com...
Take a photo tour of my garden and learn how to make your own soil, mulch, fertilizer, garden paths, weedmat, teeny weeny greenhouses and more - all for free!
It won't cost much at all to feed yourself all year round, and you'll have fun doing it.

Poll: Should the government levy industries that contribute to financial hardship?

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

As reported in the Post, there’s a $30 million funding gap in financial mentoring. This has led to services closing and mentors stepping in unpaid just to keep helping people in need 🪙💰🪙

One proposed solution? Small levies on industries that profit from financial hardship — like banks, casinos, and similar companies.

So we want to hear what you think:
Should the government ask these industries to contribute?
