Franklin Chess Club
Hi all we have quite a few potential new Club Members who want to test themselves before our opening night on the 7th February, So I have arranged to book our Chess Club Room on Saturday the 2nd of February from 10am to 11.30am.
If anyone wants to come along on the 2nd February and play a game or two or have a look at our setup Please do so
The Pukekohe Library is open so come in through the front doors and up the stairs to the Leslie Cromie room .

Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.
Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
