Sunday Roasts at the Tawa RSA

John from Tawa

SUNDAY ROASTS ARE BACK
Hi everyone

I am very pleased, along with Steph, to advise that we are all good to restart our monthly Sunday Roasts as we are back to full power. A special thanks to Tony Burt, our electrician, who has worked long and hard to make this possible, along with assistance from Paul Malcolm.

Sunday Roast will be 27 January 2019 at 6.00pm at the RSA.

If you are coming down for the Sunday roast please enter your name on the list at the bar by Friday 25 January.

To do this you can phone Alastair at the Club on 04 232 5788 or simply reply to this post and I will let Steph know. This will help Steph to prepare for the number of people attending.

Cost $25- per person

Poll: Should the government levy industries that contribute to financial hardship?

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

As reported in the Post, there’s a $30 million funding gap in financial mentoring. This has led to services closing and mentors stepping in unpaid just to keep helping people in need 🪙💰🪙

One proposed solution? Small levies on industries that profit from financial hardship — like banks, casinos, and similar companies.

So we want to hear what you think:
Should the government ask these industries to contribute?
