These will be ready to lay eggs by week X18 on wards.( And how you house them fed them will and to their comfort and laying habits.) 2nd year layers will then have Eggs larger, Hens in their first year can lay up to 300 eggs,m then after first year drops to around 200 plus and so on, but most well kept and fed hens can last for several years happily giving and laying for you nice Large Brown eggs.
