Changes to kerbside collections this Christmas in Masterton
PLEASE NOTE: The Masterton Transfer Station will be closed on Christmas Day (25 December 2018) and New Year’s Day (1 January 2018).
It will be open from 10:00am to 4:00pm on Boxing Day (26 December 2018) and the day after new years (2 January 2019)
PLEASE NOTE CHANGED RUBBISH COLLECTION DAYS FOR CHRISTMAS AND NEW YEAR:
Tuesday 25 December to be collected on Sunday 23 December
Tuesday 1 January to be collected on Sunday 30 December
Poll: Should the government levy industries that contribute to financial hardship?
As reported in the Post, there’s a $30 million funding gap in financial mentoring. This has led to services closing and mentors stepping in unpaid just to keep helping people in need 🪙💰🪙
One proposed solution? Small levies on industries that profit from financial hardship — like banks, casinos, and similar companies.

Builder Wanted or seeking builder (LBP).
We are looking for a semi-retired builder or solo LBP to supervise / co-work with me while I undertake an extension project as a self-build . Rates to be negotiated prior to commencement. Currently in the design stage at present with Architect. I have experience from past house builds so not a raw beginner, both in design and construction.
