Only a Rose Knows.

Cynthia from Foxton

Mum wrote in her calendar in November
She said; so she would remember
No more roses to buy and bring home
This garden is for us dogs to roam.

So here we are in December
And no we cannot defend her
Because this is Little Miss Perfect
And doesn't she just know it.

It is futile to complain and no doubt
January will come around
When more purchases are made without
Thought for this old hound
Who found out that his tender nose
Is no match for a thorny rose
