Congratulations to our Study Scholarship Winner!
We are excited to announce that the winner of the UHY Haines Norton Study Scholarship for 2018 is Sanjay Datt Sharma, a Year 13 student at Waitakere College. We received many entries from exemplary West Auckland secondary school students, and were very impressed by Sanjay's academic excellence, his school leadership roles and his work in the West Auckland community. We are excited to help support his academic journey at university.
Poll: Should the government levy industries that contribute to financial hardship?
As reported in the Post, there’s a $30 million funding gap in financial mentoring. This has led to services closing and mentors stepping in unpaid just to keep helping people in need 🪙💰🪙
One proposed solution? Small levies on industries that profit from financial hardship — like banks, casinos, and similar companies.
