Dog walking and or day sits ...

Debra from Waiheke Island

My beautiful fur friend passed a couple of years ago and ever since I have been needing doggy fixes .:) Being an animal lover and a practical and solution focused person I decided a great way to do this was to take care of other peoples fur children :-) ...

I have had a lot of experience with cats and dogs young and old and am experienced with giving of meds if required. I would love to offer my expertise to those of you who may need either a dog walker whilst you are at work or away for a day . Alternatively you may need someone to go in and sit with your dog for a few hours or a day ...
Whatever the needs and requirements of your animal I am available to meet them .
I am a retiree , practise yoga , walk a lot and am therefore very fit, I have impeccable references available on request and would love to hear from you if you feel I could fill a need for you.

My email address is debraharrisnz29@gmail.com ...

I look forward to hearing from you

Poll: Should the government levy industries that contribute to financial hardship?

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

As reported in the Post, there’s a $30 million funding gap in financial mentoring. This has led to services closing and mentors stepping in unpaid just to keep helping people in need 🪙💰🪙

One proposed solution? Small levies on industries that profit from financial hardship — like banks, casinos, and similar companies.

So we want to hear what you think:
Should the government ask these industries to contribute?

Night-time chipsealing works on SH2

NZ Transport Agency (NZTA)

From 9 to 17 February, stop/go traffic management will be in place on SH2 between McPherson Road and Dimmock Road on multiple nights between 9pm and 5am (Sundays to Thursdays).

During the day, all lanes will be open, but speed restrictions will apply to allow the chipseal to set and to protect vehicles travelling over the newly laid surface.

There may be delays to your journey when travelling through the area. This is weather dependent so check NZTA Journey Planner before you travel.
