Mix it up at school pick up

​Schools in Hamilton face the same re-occurring problems when it comes to the issues around their school gates. Congestion, speed, poor parking and general bad driving behaviour seem to intensify out the front of school gates at drop off and pick up times across Hamilton.

Be a 3pm superhero and mix it up at school pick up. Why not try other transport options?

- Park down the road or around the corner away from the busy school gate
- Walk, bike and scooter at least once or twice a week
- Carpool with families in your area

At the post-Cabinet press conference, the National Party asserted they want public sector staff to return to the office. This has opened a conversation about other sectors in New Zealand who have adopted working from home (WFH).

What would motivate you to walk the length of NZ?

A former stock agent with the gift of the gab is going to great lengths, walking the length of the country in fact, to get people talking about freshwater.

Mark Woods, otherwise known as ‘Woodsie’ left Cape Reinga in August, and is walking the length of New Zealand following the 3,000km Te Araroa trail.
