'RKA Bride of the Year' applications open for Golden Jubilee show
Ruahine Kindergarten Association (RKA) is now accepting applications from brides for the 50th annual Bride of the Year fundraiser taking place at the Regent Theatre on Friday 8 November 2019.
After almost half a century, what was the main fundraiser organized by parents and teachers of Somerset Kindergarten, will now be organized by RKA for the benefit of all Ruahine Kindergartens, Early Learning and Home-Based services.
The focus for 2019 is to raise funds to deliver Positive Parenting Programmes at no cost to parents throughout the RKA community. RKA is seeking sponsors for this event.
Brides must have been married between 1 September 2017 and 31 August 2019. In addition, they must be living, or have settled within the Manawatu, South Rangitikei, Foxton or Pahiatua.
