Feilding Town Centre 2040
Community || If you could, what would you change about Feilding’s Town Centre? It might be a big thing or a few small things – these are what Council wants to know about so it can create the vision for 2040. Do we want to keep the Edwardian look or go more modern, change the road layout, how do we make it a place you want to use… We have a public workshop on 9:30 – 11:30am at St John’s Hall (Bowen Street) on Tuesday, or you can use the link to us.
Poll: Should the government levy industries that contribute to financial hardship?
As reported in the Post, there’s a $30 million funding gap in financial mentoring. This has led to services closing and mentors stepping in unpaid just to keep helping people in need 🪙💰🪙
One proposed solution? Small levies on industries that profit from financial hardship — like banks, casinos, and similar companies.
