Crime Prevention Week
It's Crime Prevention week at Bunnings and Feilding Community Patrol will be there on Saturday from 10-2pm changing the screws of licence plates for a gold coin donation. They will be changing the screws to tamper deterrent screws which will make it harder for someone to steal your licence plate. Stolen licence plates are used in petrol drive offs, burglaries and to steal other vehicles. Come on down and get your plate secured. Have a chat about Community Patrol or ask questions about crime prevention.

Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.
Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
