HILLCREST DOJO, HAMILTON

Taekidokai Martial Arts

OPENING 26th October 2018

Renshi Lucas will open a new dojo, the Hillcrest dojo, at Hillcrest Normal school, 218 Cambridge Road, Hillcrest on the 26th October 2018. Renshi Lucas' last class at Dinsdale will be the 24th September. Renshi Rohan will take over the Monday night classes and will continue teaching the Thursday class. Sempai Saheb will continue to support Renshi Rohan in both classes and is currently in training to take over the Thursday class early in 2019.

We thank Renshi Lucas for his service at Dinsdale for the last two years. He is sad to leave the students and only does so in the knowledge that he is leaving the students in great hands with Renshi Rohan, supported by Black tip Saheb Singh.

Poll: Do you think NZ should ban social media for youth?

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

The Australian Prime Minister has expressed plans to ban social media use for children.

This would make it illegal for under 16-year-olds to have accounts on platforms including TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and X.
Social media platforms would be tasked with ensuring children have no access (under-age children and their parents wouldn’t be penalised for breaching the age limit)
.
Do you think NZ should follow suit? Vote in our poll and share your thoughts below.
