Suffragists Exhibition at Vogel House
Hutt City Council archives and About Space Hutt City are presenting an exhibition and series of speakers at Vogel House, Lower Hutt to celebrate 125 years of NZ women having the vote.
This is a rare opportunity to visit Vogel House, which is located at 75 Woburn Rd, and learn more about our local suffragists. Te Omanga is grateful to be the recipient charity of the koha/donation ($2) at entry to Vogel House. Money raised will go towards the rebuild of our hospice.

Exhibition of photographs of Hutt Women Suffragists, and Vogel House and Garden open to the public.
22 September, 11AM
Launch of the E-book, Suffrage 125: Hutt Women Signatories to the 1892 and 1893 Suffrage Petitions.
22 – 23 September & 29 - 30 September, 12PM – 3PM
Prominent Hutt women, local councillors and members of organisations talk about their roles.
