Grazing for Alpacas
Hi all, we have a herd of adult alpacas that we would like to graze somewhere within about 10 to 15 minutes from Mangapai. They're well mannered, intelligent and interesting males. Paddock requirements are much the same as for sheep. I will visit them most days to feed supplements, observe their condition and socialise with them. Your role would be undemanding with the opportunity to enjoy some delightful animals.
If you are interested and able to help please give me a call on 021 1894 792 - thank you Mike Moller, Lallybroch Alpacas
Some Choice News!
Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.
Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
Thinking about planting something to invite more butterflies, bees, and birds into your garden?
Thanks for your mahi, Alan! We hope this brings a smile!
