Forks for Events

Trish Given from Mt Vic Hub

Hi everyone,
We are looking to gather up forks for use at the events we hold in Mt Victoria. We have been attempting to go waste-free and after a recent event found that plastic forks and "Compostable" forks were the biggest culprits (the compostable ones need an industrial environment to break down). So we are looking for your help - if you have a few spare forks in your kitchen drawer please send them our way.
you can drop them to the hub at 24 Elizabeth St or drop them in our letterbox if no one is here.
We will use them at all our events going forward and encourage others as well.
And if you have other stuff you are giving away like knives and plates and wine glasses we will take them too and not just restrict it to forks.
Thank you in advance and we hope you can help us out.
