BEAUTIFUL PAINTINGS OF HUTT VALLEY

Alfred Memelink Artspace Gallery

An incredible exhibition featuring a beautiful collection of paintings featuring the Hutt Valley, Eastern Bays and Wellington, is now showing at Artspace Gallery on the the Petone Foreshore. The exhibition is by the amazing Eastbourne artist, Alan Collins. If you like Alan's style and you have a view in mind that you would like to have especially painted for you or as a gift, Alan would be delighted to talk to you. Even though Alan is nearly 92, he has as much get up and go as someone half his age and would love the opportunity to do a painting especially for you.
We're open between 10am - 5pm daily but closed Mondays, entry is free with free and easy parking right outside.

Poll: Should the government levy industries that contribute to financial hardship?

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

As reported in the Post, there’s a $30 million funding gap in financial mentoring. This has led to services closing and mentors stepping in unpaid just to keep helping people in need 🪙💰🪙

One proposed solution? Small levies on industries that profit from financial hardship — like banks, casinos, and similar companies.

So we want to hear what you think:
Should the government ask these industries to contribute?
