Call for more cruise ‘ambassadors’
A call has gone out for more people to join the ranks of the “ambassadors” as the 2018/19 cruise ship season draws nearer, a season that will see 19 cruise ships call into Gisborne.
The season starts in mid-November, with the arrival of regular visitor the Golden Princess, and concludes in March.
More than 70 volunteer ambassadors were involved in cruise visits last summer.
