Combined Choirs Concert
The South City Community Choir and Southern Sou'NZ Male Voice Choir will be singing at Richmond Grove Church, Corner of Yarrow and Margaret Streets on Sunday, 19 August from 2pm. Everyone is welcome and entry is by gold coin donation. Each choir has its own repertoire and will combine towards the end of the concert to sing two songs.

Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.
Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
