Well done to these three Wairarapa photographers!

Piers Fuller Reporter from News of Wairarapa

Three Wairarapa photographers achieved success at this year’s NZIPP Iris awards held recently in Wellington.
The NIKON / New Zealand Institute of Professional Photography (NZIPP) Iris Awards attract hundreds of entries from around the country and overseas each year.  The awards are highly contested and coveted as they have helped launch and establish many careers.
All the entries are judged anonymously over three days by a panel of five judges who include some of the most qualified and renowned local and international photographers.
Greytown photographer Esther Bunning was named the ‘NZIPP Portrait Artistry-In-Camera Photographer of the Year’ at the prestigious national awards held in Wellington on in July.
Featherston photographer Sharisse Eberlein received one silver and six bronzes at the NZIPP Iris Awards.
Greytown photographer Rebecca Kempton was announced a finalist for the NZIPP Documentary Photographer of the Year, and overall received 1 Silver with Distinction, 3 Silver and 2 Bronze medals across Documentary, Portrait In-Camera Artistry and Landscape categories.
