Tax Refund Fraud!
I happened to be running the JP Clinic in Ngongotaha yesterday at Progress Ngongotaha Shop and noted a young man with a clip board wandering the footpath in the CBD. It appears he was offering his services to help with getting peoples Tax Refunds!!
BEWARE!!!
We know of a similar situation where a local had a substantial amount of money taken from his bank account.
Rotorua Police are keen to identify this person, he may still be in the area, if so, if you can safely get a photo of this person / vehicle registration number anything that may help please ring it in or give the info to Lynn Benfell at Progress Ngongotaha.
