Mental Health Fundraising
So I know I'm Flooding social media with my charity and you may be sick of seeing my face, but hey it's for a good cause!
the amazingly kind-hearted Jim Peterson from Westbay Real Estate has offered 20% of a commission towards my fundraising for the Mental Health Foundation of New Zealand ! the way it works is that someone who wants to sell their property needs to mention this fundraiser to him and when the property sells 20% of his commission goes to the mental health foundation! how amazing would it be knowing that some of the omission is going towards helping the youth of our country! so! As reported in the Post, there’s a $30 million funding gap in financial mentoring. This has led to services closing and mentors stepping in unpaid just to keep helping people in need 🪙💰🪙
One proposed solution? Small levies on industries that profit from financial hardship — like banks, casinos, and similar companies.
