An update: Newtown Toastmasters Club wishes to advise it's new committee members for the 2018/2019 term (as of 1st July 2018).

Most of the committee members are new to their roles and we thank each and every one for the job skills and life experience they offer the club, with a special mention and thanks Victoria Crawford ๐Ÿ™
for her broad knowledge in business management.

The Australian Prime Minister has expressed plans to ban social media use for children.

This would make it illegal for under 16-year-olds to have accounts on platforms including TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and X.
Social media platforms would be tasked with ensuring children have no access (under-age children and their parents wouldnโ€™t be penalised for breaching the age limit)
