July school holidays
Dear neighbours
The July school holidays start tomorrow, with school returning on Monday 23 July. We welcome our community and families to visit our school during daylight hours and make the most of the fantastic play areas we have. We do recommend an adult to be with children at all times. By having community here enjoying the school grounds, it wards off those who may not do the right thing. We also ask our fantastic neighbours to please keep an eye on our school, and if you see or hear anything suspicious please contact the police immediately. Poll: Should the government levy industries that contribute to financial hardship?
As reported in the Post, there’s a $30 million funding gap in financial mentoring. This has led to services closing and mentors stepping in unpaid just to keep helping people in need 🪙💰🪙
One proposed solution? Small levies on industries that profit from financial hardship — like banks, casinos, and similar companies.
