Thank you to our Manukau East Shopping Shuttle volunteers

Lindsay Upton from Manukau East Council of Social Services (MECOSS)

Thank you to our amazing team of volunteers; a special group of people who dedicate their time and skills to ensure the smooth running of the Manukau East Shopping Shuttle.
This vital MECOSS service enables elderly people in our community, to not only be taken from point A to point B to do their shopping, but also gives them a feeling of control of their sense of independence and dignity.
Our amazing team of volunteers include;
Maureen McKechnie
Jan Blyde
Clare Christini
Margaret Nash
Lee Fowler
Peter Hodson
Kathy Kennedy
Annette King
John McKillop

Peter Upshire
Thank you for your compassion and awareness for seeing the need and responding to it. Thank you for your patience, respect and perseverance. But most of all thank you for your kindness, care and love and for being inspirational New Zealanders.

Happy Tuesday neighbours, here's a riddle to get your mind going.

Riddler from The Neighbourly Riddler

I am beautiful, up in the sky.
I am magical, yet I cannot fly.
To some I bring luck, and to some, I bring riches.
The boy at my end does whatever he wishes.
What am I?
