The New Zealand Doctor's Orchestra - Sunday 24 JUne

The New Zealand Doctors’ Orchestra returns to Napier following their very successful concert in 2016.

Mussorgsky – Pictures at an Exhibition
Schumann – Cello Concerto
Turina – Danzas Fantasticas

Cello – Paul van Houtte
Conductor – José Aparicio

The orchestra is made up of over 70 doctors and medical students from throughout New Zealand. Our soloist, Paul van Houtte, is an Auckland medical student, formerly a professional cellist based in Europe. Our conductor, José Aparicio, is principal conductor of the Hawke’s Bay Orchestra and artistic director of the Napier Civic Choir.

All proceeds from ticket sales will be donated to the
Cranford Hospice
