Seatoun Tunnel closure

Seatoun Tunnel will be closed from midnight on Sunday 24 June until 5am Monday 25 June to remove the trolley bus overhead wires. A traffic management plan will be in place, so please follow directions. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause. Click here for more info on the project

Shocking anti-Māori propaganda posted in mailboxes

I am a Māori and today I found some shocking anti-Māori propaganda which had been obviously hand delivered into my mailbox. It was a call to action and as the neice of the late Moana Jackson and Syd Jackson, two intelligent and educated Māori leaders I am appalled to think that someone in my Island Bay neighbourhood is helping to spread these hateful messages.
