Planting day to celebrate World Environment Day
To celebrate Conservation Volunteer NZ’s World Environment Day, Lion and Switched On planted reeds, sedges, flaxes and ferns beside Kaputahi Creek, a tributary of the Styx River today.
The project was part of the wider Styx River Vision to restore a native forest network across the catchment and create a source to sea walkway.
