This month we are combining our Family History Talk and Conservation Clinic. In this special session, the National Preservation Office Field Conservator, Vicki-Anne Heikell, will be presenting a talk focussing on the preservation of family photographs. The presentation will be followed by an opportunity for one-on-one conservation advice on your own family photographs. Vicki-Anne is a professional paper conservator. In her role as Field Conservator she provides training and advice in the preservation of documentary heritage items and collections to individuals, groups, iwi/Māori and organisations throughout New Zealand and operates under the auspices of the Turnbull Library’s National Preservation Office Te Tari Tohu Taonga (NPO).
