Hi
I am am the garden coordinator at the local community garden in Timberlea. I was hoping someone would be able to advise me were i would be able to get some top soil or vegetable soil from. I am hoping the cost would not be that much as funds are small and i am needing this to continue growing vegetables.
Also i would like to say a very big thank you to all the people that have given me items for the gardens so far.

Volunteers will be scouring the foreshore, riverbanks, and islands for rubbish on Saturday the 13th as part of the Clean Up the Hutt event.

Some Choice News!
Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.
Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
