The Metservice have issued a warning for the Marlborough Sounds and Rai Valley
.
Periods of heavy rain or showers are likely from the early hours of Tuesday through to late Wednesday afternoon, with possible thunderstorms and localised downpours.
Rainfall accumulations may approach warning criteria during this time, especially about the ranges.
