After School Care Volunteers
4 A Better City Charitable Trust runs an After-school-care programme for the children at Maoribank School on Tuesday’s and Thursday’s between 3:15-5pm.
Due to the growth in numbers we have experienced this year we are looking for more adult helpers for either one or both days.

As reported in the Post, there’s a $30 million funding gap in financial mentoring. This has led to services closing and mentors stepping in unpaid just to keep helping people in need 🪙💰🪙
One proposed solution? Small levies on industries that profit from financial hardship — like banks, casinos, and similar companies.
