Are our driving tests too strict?

Reporter Upper Hutt Leader

Recently, a Hamilton teen failed his driving test because his fuel light came on halfway through the test. While VTNZ admitted it was a mistake to fail him, the story on Stuff prompted others to come forward with their stories on what they were failed for. We wanted to ask you whether you thought our driving tests were too strict? Why or why not? Do you know someone failed for a seemingly small reason? Comments may be used in print unless stated otherwise with NFP.

Black Cat Loose And (Maybe) Lost

Michael from Trentham

Spied a fit looking back cat mid morning today at the Wallaceville railway station looking lost and frightened. He/she followed some young people and a few minutes later returned and then ran onto the tracks in seeing my Corgi. Trains not in service until the afternoon.
