Its that time again Thames Coast Kiwi Cares annual fundraiser.
Sat April 21st Tapu Hall, Irish Music, Meal, Auctions, Raffles, Bar and add to this our 2 special feathered guests. Yes 2 of our kiwi returning from Rotoroa Island will stop in and pay us a visit on their way home to Te mata. Tickets are available from the Organic shop. As reported in the Post, there’s a $30 million funding gap in financial mentoring. This has led to services closing and mentors stepping in unpaid just to keep helping people in need 🪙💰🪙
One proposed solution? Small levies on industries that profit from financial hardship — like banks, casinos, and similar companies.
